The Rams, who are restructuring their roster, have been actively shopping Cooper Kupp. By securing Adams, they ensure that Stafford has a reliable veteran receiver, even if Kupp is moved.
Adams, 32, is coming off another strong season. In just 14 games in 2024, he grabbed 85 catches for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns. He has more over 11,000 receiving yards in his career and is one of the few receivers with 100 or more touchdowns.
Adams first made his name with the Green Bay Packers, where he thrived alongside Aaron Rodgers. After that, he joined the Las Vegas Raiders, where he was selected to his sixth Pro Bowl. He now joins the Los Angeles Rams in hopes of helping them win another Super Bowl after a brief stint with the New York Jets in 2024.
With Cooper Kupp’s future unknown, Stafford now has an established target in Adams. With a receiver like Adams, the Rams’ offense is strengthened as they make a final push with their veteran quarterback.
With this move, the Los Angeles Rams enter a new era. Adams has the potential to lead the Rams to another deep postseason run if he can continue to play at his best.
